Through the 'Object of Loss' series, the sculptural artefact became embodied with the complex binaries of absence and presence, grief and hope, and silence and disturbance, borne from personal maternal loss.
This was a deeply private commemoration to a life lost in pregnancy, and a public acknowledgement of the taboo surrounding 'Miscarriage', and what remains in the aftermath.
