DEndritic Systems
The 'Dendritic Systems-Lagan' visual research project was made possible by a SIAP funding award from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, which facilitated a systematic visual and performative exploration of the Source of the River Lagan, and young river, at Slieve Croob, Northern Ireland.
The overarching aim was to create a series of site-specific sculptures that mapped the cultural significance, conceptual potential and rich socio-topographical Landscape of the River Lagan, and to quantify embodied experiences of/ in the River.
These works negotiate the non-/material experiences of Place with Sculpture as collaborator, and as nomadic device that mediates Bodies with the psychogeography and geo-politics of wilderness.
