With sculpture as socio-spatial practice, Emma's work incorporates encounter, performativity, publicness, photography, film, materiality and micro-histories to inform the fundamental relationship we share with our human bodies, and trace marginalised presences in private, public and contested space.

Emma layers experimental analogue, digital, still and moving visual imagery,  against the potentiality of embodied, material and sculptural practices, to synthesise a constellation of related vocabularies, feminist phenomenologies and alternative imaginaries for more participatory, democratic Place-making.
